Headquartered in Roseau with 120 employees, the NBD and its subsidiaries serve over 40 thousand customers from five locations. We operate under the Banking & Company’s Acts and are subject to prudential guidelines from our Regulators, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
History
The National Bank of Dominica Ltd (NBD) has its origins from March 1978 when it started its operations as National Commercial & Development Bank. From those embryonic days, it has become the largest Commercial Bank on the island, but subsequently ceded its developmental role to the AID Bank.
